Cass Park is a regionally, active park used heavily by residents from all parts of Tompkins County. Cass Park is a recreation center located on the waterfront in Ithaca, New York. The park is part of the Ithaca Youth Bureau, a department of the City of Ithaca. The park features an enclosed ice rink that is open from late October to mid March, an Olympic sized pool and wading pool open from mid June to late August. We offer ice skating and swimming for group visits, ice skating and swimming lessons for all ages, birthday party packages in addition to public ice skating and swimming. We also offer same or next day ice skate sharpening (during the rink season), limited hockey and swimming accessories and a concession stand. Beyond public ice skating, the rink is used by several local youth and adult hockey leagues and is available for private group rentals for ice skating, broomball, and ice hockey during the Winter season, then Roller Skating, floor hockey and other events during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
